How we got here

Started by fixing a friend’s server at 11pm

Zephyr Anchor began the way most of these stories do: a local business had a server that kept falling over, no one to call after 5pm, and a big invoice from an out-of-town vendor who never quite explained anything. We sorted it out over a long evening — and then their neighbor called.

Turns out a lot of small shops around here are stuck in the same spot. Too small to justify a full-time IT hire, too busy to babysit backups, and too burned by jargon to trust the next slick proposal. So we built the thing those businesses kept asking for: steady, local IT that talks like a human.

The name? “Zephyr” is the easy breeze — that’s the helpdesk, light and quick. “Anchor” is the heavy stuff holding firm underneath — the monitoring and security you never see. You get both, and you only ever call one number.
